Armed Robber Thought He Was A Tough Guy Until His Target Drew His Own Gun (video)

Those who support the second amendment often point to situations when average citizens need to be able to protect themselves as one of the most compelling reasons to keep the right in place. For example, if an intruder breaks into your home with violent or twisted intentions, then someone armed with a gun could protect themselves from a potentially fatal nightmare. An armed robber was stopped in his tracks when the intended victim drew out his own gun and started firing at the would-be violent criminal.

Because this armed citizen was acting in self-defense law enforcement would never look down on his attempt to save his own skin. And best of all, the entire interaction was captured on video.

29-year-old Sanchez Quinn was eager to get something for free. He set out to rob two men in Detroit, Michigan with his firearm. He took his gun and pointed it at the men outside a supermarket on Sunday night. But one of his intended victims was not prepared to roll over and play dead. Instead, he took out his firearm and started shooting at Quinn.

The armed robber was not prepared to face a victim intent on fighting back. The man with the gun happened to be a legal concealed pistol license, which is also known as a CPL.

“I turned and looked and saw the other gentleman had a gun pointed at my face,” the anonymous hero said. “I was able to knock his hand down, and the gunfire rang out.”

You can see that this second amendment hero tells the true story because there is video footage to back up his claims. You can see the victim push away the robber’s gun and see the bullets firing from the knocked aside gun.

The armed victim, who is wearing a black and white t-shirt and shorts, successfully aimed at Quinn and fired at him several times, taking him down to the ground.

But Quinn was not the only person who was injured during the assault. The other man sustained gunshot wounds as well. This injured man was the CPL holder’s cousin, reportedly.

After suffering the wounds from the legal gun holder’s firearm, Quinn was taken to the hospital. But the doctors were operating on a criminal because Quinn was arrested along with another person, who apparently assisted him in the crime.

Police believe that the victims probably would not have survived Quinn’s rampage if the one man had not used his firearm.

“It makes me mad because you have people out here that work every day. They are innocent. You want to take from them,” the man with the legal handgun said. “These guys, I definitely feel don’t need to be back out on the street because someone else might get hurt, and it might happen in a different way.”

In the footage below, you can see the man armed with the concealed firearm courageously standing up to Quinn.
