At First Glance, These Might Look Like Boring Christmas Lights. But Once The Music Comes On? I Cry

Updated February 11, 2016

Military men and women give their time, effort and even sometimes their lives to defend our freedoms as American citizens, so thanking them in as many ways as we possibly can is not only important, it’s necessary.

One Florida family decided to step up their game in thanking the troops this holiday season, but not by donating more money or giving them Starbucks gift cards. This family decided to go all-out decorating their home in the most patriotic way possible. To top it all off, the show is set to the most American tune of all time, “God Bless the U.S.A.” by Lee Greenwood!

While this Tallahassee home looks completely normal by daylight, people who drive by at night must have a hard time not crashing their car from all the flashing lights and loud music. This is truly a spectacular production that must have taken days and days to assemble.

For this family, it was all worth it to show the troops just how important they are to the rest of us. Instead of the typical white lights that are scattered across houses this holiday season, this family decided to do something inspiring and we could all learn a lesson from that.

If the lights weren’t enough of a sign, the family did put up a massive American flag, stretched across their roof and showing their dedication to the military even when the light show is shut off. While the dance-inspired cover of Greenwood’s classic hit isn’t as classic as the original, it works perfectly in sync with this incredible multimedia light display.

Did this incredible light show make you, “proud to be an American?” Share with us in the comments!
