A couple claims they saw Jesus on their daughter’s sonogram picture and they have the proof to back it up.
Alicia Zeek and Zac Smith noticed what appeared to be a face to the side of their daughter’s image in the ultrasound photo, believing it to be a sign from above.
The couple believes the image to be of Jesus and find some comfort in this appearance since Alicia had complications during her first two pregnancies, with a daughter born with two thumbs on one hand and a son born with a cleft palate after delivery complications. This pregnancy, she’s been diagnosed with preeclampsia. Is the heavenly ultrasound image a sign that this child will be healthy?
The couple told WPMT-TV that even though they aren’t religious, they’re convinced that it’s Jesus in the image, with Zac calling it “distinct,” explaining, “I blinked a lot, to kinda make sure I was really seeing it. This is distinct. I mean, there’s another face looking at my daughter!”
He added, “It almost brought tears to my eyes. I was speechless, I just couldn’t believe it, I really didn’t believe what I was seeing.”
Zac further explained: “once she said everything is good and we looked at the picture, I was like, ‘look babe, we have nothing to worry about.'”
Zac told Inside Edition: “He just was there to show us, ‘Relax, I’m here, I’m watching over her, I’m watching over your family. You do your part on the outside, I’m going to do my part.'”
There was a range of reactions from people commenting on the Fox News Facebook post about the story, with one person noting: “I’m a Christian but I really hate this type of stupidity. Jesus in clouds, donuts, bushes, and now a sonogram. If people want to say, ‘oh cool, that looks like Jesus’ and not try to make it the miraculous, that is fine. All this other stuff is silly.”
Another commenter countered with: “Most of you are seriously disappointing. Why is it so bad to believe in something good? Sorry your life sucks but let others have a little faith in something”
One person added: “Why do people have to bash believers? If some folks see an image of our Lord, what are they hurting? If it gives Christians comfort in this crazy world, that’s a good thing! Our world needs hope…not more negativity.”
Another person joked: “No wonder the world is in a tail spin…Jesus is hanging around in some chicks placenta.”
Still others believed it was a sweet message they could get behind, with one person commenting: “I think it’s beautiful. I wish our country would be more focused on faith and less on hate” and another adding, “The day after my mom died, I asked God to see a rainbow to let me know she was in heaven. My cover photo is a double rainbow that appeared that afternoon…look in the top-right corner and you can see the profile of a face. I believe it’s Jesus.”
