-2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
-1/2 cup dill pickle juice
-2 eggs
-1/4 cup milk
-1 cup flour
-2 tbsp. confectioners’ sugar
-1 tsp. paprika
-1 tsp. salt
-1/2 tsp. black pepper, freshly cracked
-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
-1/2 tsp. celery salt
-1/2 tsp. dried basil
-3 cups peanut oil for frying
-4 buns (buttered and toasted)
-Dill pickle slices for garnish

Place the chicken breast in a plastic bag and tenderize it with a mallet until it is about ½ inch thick. Then cut the breasts into 2 equal pieces. Marinate the chicken in the pickle juice for an hour.

Meanwhile, beat the eggs and milk in a bowl.

Mix the flour, sugar and spices in another bowl.

Then heat the oil in a skillet to about 350 degrees.

Now dip each side of each chicken piece into the egg mix, then coat it with the flour mix. Fry each piece of chicken for 2 minutes on each side until it is golden brown and cooked through completely – you don’t want any raw chicken.

Place the fried chicken on paper towels to absorb the excess oils. Then serve your homemade Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich on a toasted bun with pickle slices.

This is a great recipe for anytime of year. It’s simple to make and a great one for children and adults alike. Everyone loves the taste of Chick-fil-A!
