If you can not seem to get enough cuteness or Bruno Mars in your diet, we just found a fantastic new video that will get your pancreas working overtime.
In this adorable video clip, posted to YouTube yesterday, we get to watch a cute toddler rocking out to Bruno Mars in her car seat. You are going to fall in love with this pint sized “Solid Gold” dancer when you watch her moves.
This video clip was uploaded by a YouTuber named Ethan Than just yesterday, and it has already been watched more than one and a half million times! It has been liked more than thirty one thousand times, and received almost two thousand thumbs down from folks who do not seem to like short video clips of cute kids being cute.
People have also taken to the internet to say things like:
“Little girl is suffering from a Cuteness Overload!”- Allan
“Put her a dance and music classes. A natural.”- Liz in LA
“OMG how cute is that?”- Eyes Open
“totally adorable little girl, brings a smile to the face!”- A.C.
“A true little performer…..she’ll be on America’s Got Talent one day.”- Anon.
The video is also a sweet plug for pop star du jour Bruno Mars and producer Mark Ronson, whose song “Uptown Funk” can be heard in the background.
“Uptown Funk” is an unlikely smash hit, having taken almost a year to compose. The song was originally credited to Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, and Jeff Bhasker, and was recorded multiple times in various locations, with different backup musicians, and given different treatments.
After it was released, it topped the charts in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada France and Ireland, as well as in the the US, where it spent 14 weeks at number one. It also managed to win two Grammy awards, and is the fourth most watched video in the history of YouTube, with more than four billion views to date.
It also has had a number of lawsuits by various artists who claimed that parts of the song were plagiarized. Popular 70’s and ‘80’s funk band The Gap Band, sued the three credited songwriters. In a settlement, the three principal members of The Gap Band were added to the list of credited composers of the song.
In separate lawsuits, Serbian pop artist Victorija has argued that it ripped off her song “Ulice Mracne Nisu Za Devojke,” and 1980’s American funk band Collage contend that it is almost indistinguishable from their 1983 song “Young Girls.”
Nevertheless, “Uptown Funk” has become a major smash, and regardless of who wrote what parts, it has made a lot of people very rich, and some, even more rich than before.
Bruno Mars has become one of the most successful entertainers in pop history since setting out for fame and fortune in 2010. To date, he has sold over one hundred million singles and over nine million albums worldwide. Even if his songs do sound eerily familiar, they still manage to strike a chord with his fans, like this adorable toddler.
