She Takes A Towel And Dips It In Cement. After It Dries, She Flips It Over To Reveal THIS. SO COOL!

Updated February 24, 2016

Having a good place to put your plants to show off during the warm weather can be difficult to find, however having a good spot is only half the battle!  Also ensuring a stylish and matching planter pot is essential as well, and can make or break a look.

Instead of buying a pot from your gardening store, one DIY specialist by the name of Cat has shown us how to make perhaps one of the most original pots out there with a towel and some concrete.

All you are going to need for this project is an old bath towel, half a bag of some mix ready concrete, a bucket to mix it in, and about 5 gallons of water.

First, prepare the concrete mixture by mixing together the dried mix ready concrete and the water.  The mixture should be loose enough so that a towel will be able to absorb it.

Next, dunk the towel in the mixture repeatedly to allow all the concrete to soak into it.  Make sure every square inch of the towel is covered!

Now, drape towel over one of your buckets, and let it dry for 24-48 hours, depending on how think your towel is and how thick your concrete mixture is.  After drying has finished, your product should look something like this:

The look is very interesting, and stylish!  Let us know in the comments below your thoughts on the project and if you might ever try this new idea for your pots.
