Creating your own handmade gifts is one of the greatest ways to show your appreciation for somebody because it demonstrates how much time and effort you really want to dedicate to them.

This amazing DIY is not only a blast, but will allow you to create a beautiful present, but also a cute decoration that can spruce up any living space.

All you need for this project is some colored paper, scissors, glue, and a ballpoint pen.

Start out by cutting 5 cm wide strips of your colored paper for the flower, and then cut slits down the strip that are about 1 cm apart.

Next take the interior of your ballpoint pen, and twist the cut slits around the pen to make them nice and curly!

Grab a green sheet of paper, and cut a 6 cm strip and wrap it tightly into a stem.  With a little glue, you will have a nice green stem in no time.

Last but not least, take you curly strip of paper and wrap it around you stem starting from the top.  You will want to put a little glue at the top to hold it in place.

Within several minutes, you should have a beautiful looking colored Hyacinth flower!  You can repeat this process several times with different colors to create an amazing looking arrangement.
