Paranormal Youtube site ApexTV has a pretty insane list of videos. They are certainly the only channel that can claim to have a time traveler on their staff, as “Noah” often shares his predictions for the future. But Noah isn’t the only time traveler that the lucky people who run ApexTV had the fortune of stumbling across. Let’s meet James Oliver!
According to the video description, James Oliver is a time traveler stuck in the year 2018. He comes from a distant planet and a different time: the year 6491. Interestingly enough, he has a British accent.
Oliver hails with warnings of the dangers of climate change and the discovery of aliens (apparently very soon!) and also news that he has hidden his spaceship somewhere on our planet. Let’s hope no one digs it up by accident.
According to Oliver, the planet he is from varies greatly from our own. He doesn’t go into much detail, other than saying that the years there are longer and thus the count may be different than we are used to. This seems like an unnecessary detail in a short interview, but it doesn’t really matter.
The interview is set up as a “lie detector test,” except we never actually see the lie detector. Oliver is shown with several attachments on his fingers, and their purpose is explained shortly into the video. Apparently, they monitor all aspects of Oliver, so as to ensure that he is definitely not lying.
For some reason, they set up the camera away from the computer screen. If we could see the actual results of the lie detector test, this video might have a bit more sway but right now it seems pretty sketchy from a critical thinking point of view.
According to Oliver, the relationships between aliens and humans are anything but pleasant. There are apparently wars coming between our two factions, but the rest of the galaxy represents a much bigger group of intelligent beings than we ever considered. At least, as long as we are taking what Oliver says seriously.
“There have been some conflicts, but most of it has been put under control by the federation very quickly,” he continues. “The federation is there as a peace-keeping vessel.”
Unfortunately, the interviewer never asks James about his accent, his relatively normal appearance or why he came to our planet. He did ask Oliver about whether he has friends that are aliens – the sort of hot-button journalism that our first interaction with alien life deserves.
“I have, on occasion. But the only time I meet them is when I am at home,” Oliver answered cryptically. “I have personal relationships with a few of them. I have friends I’d consider aliens. They are a nice lot, they are. Don’t be quick to judge.”
When asked about the future US president, Oliver finally stopped the interviewer in his tracks. Apparently, there are some things that this future time traveler just can’t share.
