What Obama And Hillary Don’t Want You To Know About The Weinstein Rape Scandal

Over the last week, Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been accused by numerous women as being a sexual deviant. Stars including Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet have come forward to tell the world how Weinstein sexually assaulted them while they were working on his movies. Now former president Barack Obama has come forward and broke his silence to condemn Weinstein’s criminal activity. But the liberals seem to be turning the other cheek on the fact that Weinstein has been a generous donor to the Democrat’s coffer. And when pressed whether or not Obama would return the alleged sexual assailant’s donations, the former president has remained tellingly silent.

On behalf of both himself and the former first lady, Obama spoke out against what Harvey Weinstein has been accused to doing to multiple women. Obama didn’t mention that his daughter, Malia Obama, had done an internship with The Weinstein Company, and could have been at risk with the alleged abuser.

And Obama has not mentioned that Weinstein was a major donor during his 2012 re-election campaign.

When he broke his silence about the sexual assault allegations against Weinstein, Obama said:

“Michelle and I have been disgusted by the recent reports about Harvey Weinstein. Any man who demeans and degrades women in such fashion needs to be condemned and held accountable, regardless of wealth or status.”

Obama then spoke up about how courageous he felt the women were to come forward and speak out against Weinstein despite his influence and power.

“We should celebrate the courage of women who have come forward to tell these painful stories. And we all need to build a culture – including by empowering our girls and teaching our boys decency and respect – so we can make such behavior less prevalent in the future.”

Weinstein was a key fundraiser for the Democratic party. Numerous actresses have come forward to accuse him of sexual assault from all different points in his 30 year career. The allegations came forward in early October 2017 and led to his prompt dismissal from the Weinstein Company.

Former Democratic party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton also came forward to condemn Harvey Weinstein. He was a dear friend to Clinton.

“I was shocked and appalled by the revelations about Harvey Weinstein,” Hillary Clinton’s spokesperson Nick Merrill said on behalf of the presidential candidate according to CNN. “The behavior described by women coming forward cannot be tolerated. Their courage and the support of others is critical in helping to stop this kind of behavior.”

Although Weinstein was a major money man for the Democratic party, they are condemning his actions.

CNN Political Director David Chalian said on October 10, “This is just conscionable to me that people with huge megaphones, even more important because they did received his donations and had been patronized by him, do not come out and speak against this.”

Do you think Obama will return the money that Weinstein gave him for his 2012 re-election? Do you think all major Democrats will condemn the man for the sexual allegations against him?
