Doctors Tell Him To Stop Injecting His “Muscles” But He Refuses To Quit

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But when it comes to Brazilian bodybuilder, Valdir Segato believes that the bigger muscles he has, the more beautiful he looks. The doctors don’t agree. Nevertheless, three years ago, he started injecting his muscles with cooking oil to give them extra bulk. Because he was doing the dangerous procedure as often as possible, doctors told the Brazilian that if he didn’t stop the injections, he could risk having his limbs amputated – it had gotten to be that serious.

The oil injections were very serious and including a concoction made from sesame oil as well as alcohol and painkillers. In other words, they were extremely dangerous – but they did the job of bulking up Segato’s muscles.

Experts have urged the bodybuilder to quit while he was ahead or risk having his prized limbs – his favorite possessions – lost forever.

Because of his dangerous injections, the bodybuilder has gotten his biceps as large as 23 inches. While it might make his appearance the way he wants it to look, doctors don’t recommend it. They say that if he continues these injections, amputation might become the best-case scenario. That’s because things could go even more wrong, and he might suffer from strokes or block arteries, which could cause his death. He might also suffer from dangerous infections.

But Segato, from Sao Paulo, believes that the injections are worth every risk. Because he is getting the muscle girth that he desires, he loves how they are working for him. Despite being in his 50s, the bodybuilder has the hulking mass of a man half his age.

Segato has looked up to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has admitted steroid use and even wrote a chapter about it in his book on bodybuilding. He also loves the character the Hulk from the comic book universe. While it might not be the best idea to try to look like a cartoon character, he gets the reaction he wants from the people of Sao Paulo, who call him “the monster” whenever he is caught on the street.

Segato works as a construction worker and has always wanted to be as massive as he could be. When he was a young man, he was rather skinny, and this was his reaction to the bullying he received.

During an interview in 2016, Segato said, “They call me Hulk, Schwarzenegger, and He-Man all the time and I like that. I’ve doubled my biceps, but I still want to be bigger.”

Despite the results he has achieved, they’re not enough for this Brazilian bodybuilder. He wants more and is happy to resort to the dangerous injections to spur along the results he hopes to get one day.

Before his bodybuilding days, Segato was a skinny drug addict. He said:

“I got involved with drugs, and I started losing weight because you don’t eat, you lead a wrong life.”

But when he quit drugs, he joined a gym and fell in love with a new addiction – bodybuilding. Now he doesn’t inject heroin and other drugs, he injects himself with dangerous chemicals to boost his muscle size.
