Mom Doesn’t Like The Way Other Parents Are Dressed At The Bus Stop. This Is Their Response

Parents have a hard enough job as it is raising their children to be upstanding citizens. So when moms and dads face outside judgment for things that don’t really matter – like how they dress when dropping their children off at school – people get heated. However, one mom was not shy about her “feedback” concerning the way some parents dress while driving their kids to school and shared it on social media.

The popular Facebook page Sanctimommy picked up the post, blotted out the angry mom’s name, and then shared it with their numerous followers.

The post read:

“ETA: I know this is stirring up some haters so whatever. Sorry if this hits close to home. Ladies, even if you aren’t getting out of the car at drop off can you please try a little. I look around as I’m walking my daughter to the front door and all we see is rat nest hair, no makeup, eyebags out to wherever and I’m not 100 percent, but I think I smell morning breath coming from these cars. Damn. My daughter said to me, ‘Mommy you are so pretty. My friends’ mommies all look so old. I’m so proud of you and that you are my mommy.’ ON the real, if my seven-year-old can see you aren’t even trying. What is your husband thinking? Take some pride.”

This judgmental mom peppered her post with a few emojis including one depicting a manicure.

When Sanctimommy shared the image of the judgmental post, they captioned it with:

“What better mother-daughter activity is there than harshly judging other women for their appearance in the privacy of their own vehicles at 7am?”

After this post was shared, more than a thousand people shared their reaction to in the comments. Here are some of the most popular ones.

“Today my 4-year-old asked me, ‘Mommy, why do people go online and lie about things their child said? Don’t they realize that children do not speak in the complex structure they want us to believe?’ I was so proud of him.”

“That’s exactly the sentence structure, grammar, etc. that my 7 yo daughter would have used if I were lying about something that never happened, too.”

“First of all, my rat’s nest hair looks amazing. And second of all, please hustle across that parking lot. I need to get inside: I’m the teacher.”

Many of the women writing in their comments added that husbands are usually grateful that the moms are dropping the kids off at school.

“He’s thinking ‘thank God I don’t have to get out of bed to drop these fucking kids off’ but thanks for your concern. And like, just for the record, my husband also isn’t putting concealer on for the drop-off line, but I don’t judge him it’s called MARRIAGE and it’s about loving the face your spouse was born with sorry your marriage is one lipstick-less day from an affair.”

What do you think about this mom’s critical social media post? How would you respond to what she says?
