Just a few months after Dog Chapman lost his wife, Beth, to cancer, he’s now getting more bad health news. Dog was recently hospitalized due to a “heart emergency.” The 66-year-old television star was taken to a Colorado hospital after feeling chest pains. Doctor’s are not 100% sure what the cause of his chest pains were, but early indications seem to point to a heart attack. The latest reports indicate that he may need surgery.
Doctors are continuing to do tests to figure out the cause of his chest pains. As of right now, they believe the most likely cause was a heart attack.
TMZ is reporting that doctors are also testing to see if Dog needs corrective heart surgery.
Dog’s rep told the press, “I can confirm Dog is under doctor’s care and is resting comfortably. Thank you for all your well wishes – keep ’em coming.”
On June 29, Dog announced the passing of his wife, Beth, on Twitter. “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”
Beth was 51 when she died of throat cancer. Dog is 66.
In August, just a few months after she passed, thugs robbed Dog’s Colorado store and took items that belonged to Beth. The items included the gear she used to go bounty hunting with Dog on their hit television show.
Days later, a company in Dubai tried to scam him out of $430,000.
Please keep Dog in your thoughts and prayers today and let’s hope he recovers quickly!
