In the wake of the college admission scandal, you’d think that former Full House actress Lori Loughlin would by lying low. However, neighbors in Beverly Hills have noticed something strange going on at Loughlin’s property. Despite being exposed for having paid a $500,000 bribe to the University of South California to admit her daughters despite their lack of merit, Loughlin continues to fly the school’s flag on her property.
Neighbors realized the flag was flying proudly on the property of the mansion on Tuesday after the news broke about Loughlin’s unsavory act of bribery. She owns the mansion with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli.
In the wake of the scandal, Giannulli used the family’s home as collateral to post bail and get out of jail.
Loughlin was not alone in her crimes. She and her husband were among a list of 50 parents and coaches who have been charged with a toxic scheme to help wealthy Americans cheat their children into top universities and colleges.
For example, Loughlin paid a lofty sum to have her two daughters labeled as USC crew team recruits, although her girls had never rowed a day in their lives.
Daughter Olivia has made her own fame with a YouTube channel with nearly two million followers. Nevertheless, her mother helped her get even higher in life by cheating her into the school. Olivia started classes at USC last year, following the bribe her mom and dad paid to get her in the school.
Loughlin and Giannulli married back in 1997 and have been “partners in crime” ever since. Back in 2017, the listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale at a whopping $35 million price tag. Last week they used the home to post bail and walk the streets again.
The following day, Loughlin turned herself into the FBI and will appear in court.
Meanwhile, her daughter Olivia Jade has faced a lot of backlash for her parents’ criminal activity. She has achieved celebrity status from her social media fame but has been receiving criticism after it was revealed she was a cheater.
Last year, Olivia also admitted that she did not “really care about school” and only wanted to experience the “game days and partying” with boys.
Last year, she even posted a video to YouTube about how she didn’t care about school and was not committed to it – despite the half-million dollar bribe her mother and father paid to get her into the lauded school.
“I don’t know how much of school I’m gonna attend. But I’m gonna go in and talk to my deans and everyone, and hope that I can try and balance it all. But I do want the experience of like game days, partying… I don’t care about school, as you guys all know.”
In the wake of the truth, Olivia has apologized for being “spoiled” and “ignorant.”
Olivia gained financially for being a USC student. Amazon paid her to post sponsored content for dorm rooms.
