One of the first, and most common, early warning signs of dementia is memory loss. This symptom is the most well-known symptom of the degenerative disease. While it is normal to forget things, like appointments, a person with dementia might forget them often or not remember them at all.

If you notice someone you love suffering from memory loss, watch it closely. The same goes for yourself. Memory loss is a sign to get your health checked by a doctor.

It’s normal for people to forget something every once in a while, but when it becomes a trend, you need to take action while you’re still in control. Then you can do something about it.
