This Is How Trump Is Celebrating After The Mueller Report Shows He Is Completely Innocent

The results of Robert Mueller’s long awaited investigation are in, and Donald Trump and his supporters are celebrating. The report shows that there was no collusion between the President and Russia before the 2016 election, and there is not enough evidence to prove that the President committed an obstruction of justice. Needless to say, Democrats are very upset at the news.

In fact, Democrats are calling for the full report to be released, as well as all underlying investigative materials. It’s unclear whether this demand will be met, but it is unlikely.

Donald Trump returned to the White House shortly after the news broke and told awaiting reporters that “America is the greatest place on earth.” He felt so strongly about this statement, he repeated it twice during his speech.

The 22-month investigation has weighed on President’s Trump first two years in office, and Democrats were eagerly awaiting for the results. Most Democrats believed that the investigation would lead to evidence that would allow them to impeach Donald Trump, or even land him in jail. The truth, however, was much different.

Trump told the reporters that he hopes someone will be “looking at the other side,” implying that he hopes someone will take legal action against the people who initiated the investigation. He called it, “an illegal takedown that failed.”

“There was no collusion with Russia, there was no obstruction and none whatsoever and it was a complete and total exoneration. It’s a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this.”

“Before I even got elected it began. And it began illegally. … This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully somebody is going to be looking at the other side. So a complete exoneration, no collusion, no obstruction.”

Trump even celebrated on Twitter, telling his followers, “No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”

However, there is still work to be done because it’s clear the Democrats will not take this as the final word. It’s likely they will question the findings and scrutinize how Mueller came to his conclusions.

Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi released a joint statement that read, “Attorney General Barr’s letter raises as many questions as it answers. The fact that Special Counsel Mueller’s report does not exonerate the president on a charge as serious as obstruction of justice demonstrates how urgent it is that the full report and underlying documentation be made public without any further delay. Given Mr. Barr’s public record of bias against the Special Counsel’s inquiry, he is not a neutral observer and is not in a position to make objective determinations about the report.”

Donald Trump Jr. also weighed on the results. His official statement read, “After more than 2 years of non-stop conspiracy theories from CNN, MSNBC, Buzzfeed and the rest of the mainstream media, as well as daily lies and smears coming from Democrats in Washington, the Mueller Report proves what those of us with sane minds have known all along, there was ZERO collusion with Russia.”

He added, “Sadly, instead of apologizing for needlessly destabilizing the country in a transparent attempt to delegitimize the 2016 election, it’s clear that the Collusion Truthers in the media and the Democrat Party are only going to double down on their sick and twisted conspiracy theories moving forward. It’s my hope that honest journalists within the media have the courage to hold these now fully debunked truthers accountable and treat them with the scorn and ridicule that they so deserve.”

Trump spent the day Sunday playing golf at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Sunday. It’s unclear when he was told of the news, but he did have positive tweets in the morning, after being silent on Twitter since the report was finalized.
