Kim Zolciak and her husband, Kroy Biermann, liked to live large. They purchased a massive mansion in the beautiful state of Georgia and proceeded to brag about it to everyone who would listen to them. The 44-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her former professional NFL player husband, who is thirty-seven, bought their home all the way back in 2012 for just $880,000. The property has ballooned in value and is currently estimated to be worth as much as $2.6 million, according to a Friday report published by TMZ.

Now, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her former NFL player husband are broke. They have lost their house to foreclosure, and the property will go to public auction on March 7, 2023, unless the reality star is able to make payments and earn her way back into the seat as the property owner.

Four months ago, Kim Zolciak denied all the rumors that had begun circulating about her poor finances. At the time, the TV personality denied all claims that her home was going to go into foreclosure and be auctioned off to the highest bidder. The property allegedly fell into foreclosure under the leadership of Zolciak and Biermann and will be auctioned off for about $257,000 because it is in bad financial shape.

Zolciak earned a lot of money and fame because of her house. She featured the property during her days with the Real Housewives of Atlanta and also during her spin-off reality show Don’t Be Tardy, which aired a total of eight seasons for the Atlanta socialite.

The couple allegedly defaulted on their $1.65 million mortgage back in August 2022. However, they did not want the public to know that they were struggling financially, so they lied to everyone about the truth about the foreclosure. Nevertheless, Truist Bank has been working to secure a deal on the foreclosed home and began the process of taking over the property back during last summer.

The mansion is located close to the 18th hole of the Manor Golf and Country Club, which is located just north of the bustling southern city of Atlanta. The mansion includes five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, which means it offers plenty of space for the couple as well as any guests who want to stay with them during their ten years of ownership.

Kim Zolciak showed off the Atlanta-area mansion during the 2012 season of her spin-off reality show, which was originally titled Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding. The mother of six was proud to show off the property she had purchased with the help of a mortgage that she would struggle to pay years later.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on a luxurious property for next to nothing, you should head to the Fulton County Courthouse on March 7, 2023, because the reality star’s property will be going to public auction. The highest bidder will own this piece of reality TV history.

Back in November 2022, Kim denied rumors that her home was auctioned off for $257,000. Instead, she claimed it was worth more than ten times that amount at $2.5 million.

“My house was not sold for $257,000. If you guys think that I would let my home, which we put millions and millions of dollars [into], go for $257,000, you’re an idiot, OK? For real,” the reality star said. She was clearly upset in the Instagram Stories post.
