On Monday, July 2, comedian Andy Dick was officially charged with two counts of battery. These stem from an incident back in April, in which he groped a woman but for most people, this is no surprise. Dick has been groping, feeling up, and having his way with uncomfortable women for years at this point. In one example, he groped Ivanka Trump while they both were on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2007.

That particular incident came just one year before he was arrested for allegedly groping the breast of a 17-year-old girl. Not only did he grope her, he “pulled her bra down and exposed her breast.”

Daily Mail dug a little deeper, and found photos of him groping a different woman at a 2003 event so clearly, this is nothing new. The famous comedian got away with his misconduct for years, but now he is finally getting his due.

Dick is learning the hard lesson that other people’s bodies are not yours to grope, touch, or feel as you please. While much of this was hidden under the rug for years as “boys being boys,” the current environment has allowed more women than ever to speak out against harassment.

In March, Dick was caught putting his hand down the pants of another man at an event as well. So it’s not only women that need to watch out for this predatory celebrity, but men as well.

The Jimmy Kimmel incident began right at the intro of the show when Dick told Trump that he wanted to give her a “big, wet kiss.” It was all downhill from there.

He proceeded to fondle her leg and thigh the first chance he got, despite her protests. He continued rubbing his hands along her knee even as she politely asked him to stop. Kimmel then got involved, turning the entire thing into an impromptu bit.

Dick continued his unwanted advances later on in the show, first grabbing at her ponytail then reaching for her arm.

Kimmel rose from his chair while calling for security to come and escort him off the stage. Dick was then taking off to a chorus of laughs, and the bizarre situation was finally over.

“It was time for Andy to go, so I escorted him out by his feet,” Kimmel told Extra in an interview. “He’s Andy. He’s not upset. He’s not apologetic. He’s just nutty. He always makes me a little uncomfortable. You have no idea what he’s going to do next.”

Dick brought the incident back into the public spotlight last December. He related it to the accusations against Donald Trump, especially in relation to the Access Hollywood tape. Trump was quoted several times in that interview.

“You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful – I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” he told Billy Bush.

“Whatever you want,” Bush added.

“Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

Andy Dick tried to excuse his actions, citing these quotes and releasing a quote back in December.

“Her legs were sparkling, and I was trying to see if the glitter would wipe off. I also mistakenly thought she would date me. I was jokingly carried off by security,” Dick wrote. “Is anybody going to carry Trump off? No joke. Confusing times.”

Andy Dick was never truly held accountable for his actions back in 2007 towards the daughter of our current president. Thankfully, Dick is now facing the music for separate crimes and perhaps he will learn finally his lesson. No one deserves to be groped, molested, or otherwise touched without their consent.
