His first wife, Jody Wolcott, who he was married to from 1948 through 1963, reported that their marriage was volatile. The marriage ended when both Jody and Johnny admitted their infidelities.
Just a few months after that divorce, Johnny married Joanne Copeland. Nine years later, they were divorced and Joanne received $6,000 per month from Johnny until he died. She also claims she got a “nice little art collection.”
A few months after that divorce, Johnny announced he and Joanna Holland were secretly married hours before an anniversary party for The Tonight Show. Nine years later, they were divorced and Joanna received $20 million in cash and property.
Carson was married to Alexi Mass until his death in 2005.
